Winning Reader Recipe: The Zinkin Kids’ PB & J Smoothie

Sports agent DeWayne Zinkin, and his wife, Kristy, make smoothies for the kids, who love them. Shown here with their cool “uncle,” MMA star Josh Koscheck, UFC welterweight contender, the kids’ smoothie recipe is a hit with him, too!

The Zinkin Kids’ PB & J Smoothie

10 ounces of 100% apple juice

2 scoops (approx. 1⁄2 cup) nonfat or vanilla yogurt

10 whole fresh or frozen strawberries

2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries

1 Tablespoon chunky or regular peanut

butter (optional)

1 cup ice

1. Pour all the contents into a blender. Blend until mixture looks smooth.

2. Pour into large cup and serve chilled.
