Reindeer Nutter Butter Cookies are the perfect treat to leave out for Santa—but they might be all gone before he gets there!
Reindeer Nutter Butter Cookies
Makes 32 cookies
Prep time: 25 minutes
Note: Be sure to embellish the cookies completely before the chocolate dries and hardens.
16 ounces chocolate-flavored candy coating
1 (16-ounce) package of Nutter Butter cookies
64 miniature brown M&M’s or similar candies, for “eyes”
32 cinnamon candies or red miniature M&M’s for “nose”
64 mini pretzel twists for “antlers”
1. Microwave the chocolate candy coating in a small glass dish on high for 3 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent chocolate from burning.
2. Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper or parchment paper.
3. Spread melted chocolate on top of each Nutter Butter cookie and place them on parchment paper. Press in 2 mini brown M&M’s to make the reindeer’s “eyes” and a red candy to make the reindeer’s “nose.” Press in 2 pretzel twists to make the “antlers.”
