Mossage Scottsarella is comfort food at its best!
Mossage Scottsarella is pure gooey goodness. Creamy tomato sauce with stringy mozzarella and sausage over spaghetti may fast become a family favorite. While at the store, grab a Caesar salad kit and some crusty bread to serve along side.

Cook time: 35 minutes
1 lb. spaghetti
2 Tablespoons olive oil
¾ pounds spicy Italian sausage
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 medium onions, coarsely chopped
2 (14-ounce) cans petite diced tomatoes
1 cup heavy cream
3 Tablespoons tomato paste
2 Tablespoons dried oregano
½ teaspoon salt
2 bay leaves
¾ lb. mozzarella, cut into ½-inch cubes
Crushed red pepper (optional)
1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions in salted water.
2. Meanwhile, in large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic and crumble in sausage. Brown the sausage and strain off fat.
3. Add tomatoes with juice, heavy cream, tomato paste, oregano, salt and bay leaves. Simmer until thickened. Remove bay leaves and stir in cheese. Cook for a couple more minutes until cheese just begins to melt.
4. Serve over spaghetti. Sprinkle with crushed red pepper if desired.
